1DocStop for Special Education
1DocStop for Special Education organizations is an adaptation of our 1DocStop web application designed specifically with S.E. organization needs in mind. Its user interface was designed specifically to facilitate the storage and retrieval of files common among most Special Education organizations while retaining access to 1DocStop's extensible interface.
Built on Microsoft’s .NET Framework and running on Windows Server 2008R2 and MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 1DocStop is a framework for securely storing documents and aligning their storage configurations with an organization’s adopted record retention policies. 1DocStop is a multi-tiered data access solution enabling SyTech to utilize a rapid application development model that delivers our customers with document management systems built specifically around their business processes. The interface will be designed specifically around how your department handles special education specific student records reducing your staff’s learning curve.
1DocStop’s Extender Services
1DocStop’s Extender Services are Windows Communication Foundation service-oriented applications that allow us to further extend the usefulness of our customers’ document repositories. Through these authenticated services, we can help our customers connect software solutions from other aspects of their business to the documents in 1DocStop. What this means for Special Education organizations is a more connected, data-aware education staff able to access a common repository of managed documents from multiple applications. In addition, our Extender services also enable you to take advantage of any imaging hardware your organization already has in place. 1DocStop can receive documents from any copy machine, scanner, or digital sender that has a scan-to-network or scan-to-email capability.
Access to the 1DocStop repository
Access to the 1DocStop repository is made possible by a security aware application designed with industry standard security models commonly found only in the online banking community. Communication between your department’s PCs and our servers are encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. Authentication, the process by which the server determines whether a user should be given access to the documents, is determined by the verification of email address and password. Additional levels of security are also available in the form of two factor authentication using Go6 keychain authenticators and/or knowledgebase authentication. All of our customers’ records are treated as confidential and Special Education student files are no exception. All access to the records is logged for access auditing purposes.
